MafanyCare™ — Legal, Privacy & Protection Policy

Important Disclosure

MafanyCare™ provides non-medical, domestic support services only. We are not a licensed Home Care Organization (HCO), home health agency, or medical provider. We do not perform any medical, nursing, or clinical care. All assistance is focused on wellness, comfort, and daily living support. Our role is to complement—not replace—licensed healthcare professionals.

Real-World Compliance & Boundaries

MafanyCare™ follows all California domestic worker and consumer protection laws. As a solo provider, all services are performed personally by William Mafany, LVN, in a strictly non-clinical capacity. We stay fully within legal boundaries for non-medical, domestic, and wellness support. If a client’s needs exceed that scope, MafanyCare™ will refer them to the proper medical or clinical providers — because we don’t cross lines, and we don’t play with people’s health.

HIPAA-Level Confidentiality Promise

Even though MafanyCare™ is not a medical agency, we operate under HIPAA-style confidentiality standards. That means:

  • • All client details, routines, and personal information stay 100% private.

  • • No names, addresses, or stories are ever shared, posted, or discussed.

  • • Digital records (schedules, contacts, invoices) are stored in encrypted, password-protected systems.

  • • Only the owner (William Mafany) has direct access.

  • • We treat your privacy like it’s our license on the line — because that’s exactly how we operate.

Cybersecurity, Anti-Harassment & Fraud Prevention

MafanyCare™ uses multiple layers of protection to keep operations safe:

  • • Encrypted communication channels and secure booking/payment systems.

  • • Logging of all digital messages for security tracking.

  • • Zero tolerance for online harassment, scams, or blackmail attempts.

Any individual or group that attempts to harass, threaten, or extort MafanyCare™, impersonate our business or staff, or post defamatory or false content online will have their communications archived and reported to law enforcement, cybersecurity authorities, and their internet providers.

We protect our clients and our business from fraud, spam, and shady actors — period.

Identity & Authenticity Policy

If it doesn’t come directly from @mafanycare.com, mafanycare.com, or verified phone contact, it’s not us. We don’t cold-call, spam, or DM strangers for business. Clients are encouraged to verify all communication directly with William Mafany before sharing any personal or payment information. This keeps both sides protected from fake accounts and impersonators.

Law Enforcement & Legal Cooperation

MafanyCare™ will fully cooperate with law enforcement in any case involving fraud, extortion, harassment, defamation, threats to client or provider safety, identity theft, or cyberattacks. We don’t play games with safety or integrity. If you come correct, you’ll get professional service. If you come sideways, we keep receipts and hand them to the right people.

Booking & Payment Policy

  • • All payments are final once your consultation and booking are confirmed.

  • • Reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Less than 24 hours’ notice results in session forfeiture with no refund.

  • • Payment must be completed before the service date.

  • • Services are offered within San Diego County unless otherwise arranged.

  • • Accepted methods: Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, card, or check.

  • • Returned payments or disputes may suspend future service.

Liability & Service Limits

MafanyCare™ is a non-medical service. We are not responsible for medical outcomes or emergencies. In any emergency, 911 or your designated contact will be called immediately. We don’t lift beyond safe limits, operate medical devices, or handle prescription medications. If a client’s condition changes, services may be paused until proper care is arranged.

Privacy Policy (CCPA-Compliant)

What We Collect:

  • • Basic contact information (name, phone, address, email).

  • • Scheduling and payment details.

  • • Service preferences (non-medical only).

What We Don’t Collect:

  • • Medical records, diagnosis info, or insurance data.

  • • Sensitive personal identifiers (Social Security, banking, etc.).

How It’s Protected:

  • • Encrypted, password-secured data.

  • • Limited access (owner only).

  • • Immediate removal upon verified written request.

Your Rights:

  • • You can request to review, correct, or delete your data anytime.

  • • Email privacy@mafanycare.com to initiate.

Non-Discrimination & Respect

MafanyCare™ provides equal service to every client — regardless of race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or background. Discrimination, harassment, or abuse of any kind will not be tolerated — by anyone, in any direction.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute will be handled in San Diego County under California jurisdiction. If needed, small claims court or mediation will be used before legal escalation.
